It is all about balance, so If you feel like sausages , add kale for a healthy twist to your stew. Blend your potato and pea mash for an amazingly silky consistency and a sweet flavour. I have added more veg by roasting Dutch carrots with a dash of honey. I also highly recommend buying your sausages at the butcher to get the best quality and flavour.

I am very proud that I taught my mum how to make lasagne. If you don’t want to bother making your own cheese sauce, you canĀ buy the ready made version. I recommend making your own cheese sauce, it only takes 10 minutes and you can control the sneaky calories by using skim milk and far reduced butter.
