Lamb Soulaki

If you struggle with the recommended daily vegies intake, this recipe is for  you. Load up on greens. Choose your fav dip –  tzatziki or hummus or add both dips to your pitta bread!


Ingredients

  • 500 Grams
    lamb mince
  • 1/2
    red onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 Teaspoon
    Harisa spice
  • 1
    egg, gently whisked
  • 1
    tzatziki dip or hummus dip
  • 1
    packet of wholemeal pittas
  • Salad mix, tomatoes , cucumbers for the salad

Instructions

  1. Combine lamb mince, half of the onion, spice and egg in the bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Roll tablespoonful's of the mixture into long balls. Transfer to a tray. Cover with a plastic wrap. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes to set.

  2. Preheat a barbeque and grill plate to a medium heat. Cook the lamb kebabs until cooked through. Grill pittas on both sides to warm through.

  3. Top the pitta bread with lamb, tzatziki and greens!
